Product Description
◆ Special Properties
DMBA is a multifunctional compound containing two primary hydroxyl groups and one carboxyl group, which makes the molecule have both alcohol and acid properties . The lipophilic carbon skeleton and hydrophilic functional group structure make it have unique solubility characteristics, and become an excellent extender and hydrophilic agent, which can be used as a synthetic water-based polymer system. DMBA has better solubility than DMPA in different solvents, and has better comprehensive properties.

◆ Application
DMBA is used as chain extender and internal emulsifier for waterborne polyurethane; it can also be used for waterborne epoxy resin, waterborne polyester, waterborne alkyd, waterborne adhesive Multi-purpose modifier (hydrophilic chain extender) for water-based products; used as raw material for manufacturing photosensitive resin, magnetic recording material and liquid crystal, etc. Using DMBA to produce resin, no organic solvent is needed in the modification process, it is a new generation of green and environmentally friendly products.
